Hotel Marketing

Grand Copthorne Waterfront has won the ‘International Title for Hotel Marketing’ at the 2019 International Hotel Awards.

Earlier this year in May, the hotel had achieved five titles in the Singapore and Asia-Pacific regions, in the categories for Luxury Hotel, Luxury Convention Hotel, Luxury Hotel Marketing Singapore, Luxury Hotel Marketing Asia-Pacific and International 5-star Standard. The hotel then went up against of all other regions in the hotel marketing category (Europe, Africa, UK, Arabia and the Americas) and emerged on top once again.

Grand Copthorne Waterfront is the only Singapore hotel to be recognised in for Best Luxury Marketing internationally in the history of the awards.

Celebrating the win, Millennium Hotels and Resorts Group Chief Operating Officer Mr Kieran Twomey said, “We are very excited to be recognised on an international stage against a field of very strong contenders from the hospitality industry. The International Hospitality Awards is a global competition that honours excellence in the global hospitality industry. The awards which cover 17 categories are split into regions, with participants judged by a panel of professionals who cover a rang of hospitality disciplines. The 5-star awards for each category are awarded on a national level before going on to compete on a regional level, and regional winners are automatically entered into the overall International Awards. The 2019 Awards took place this year on December 2 at The Savoy in London.
