On 1 November the team at Chelsea Harbour Hotel, welcomed three current Chelsea football superstars, David Luiz, Olivier Giroud, Cesc Fabregas as well as all-time Chelsea Legend, Gianfranco Zola, for a packed day of interviews and filming.
As the club’s Official Hotel Partner, we had the opportunity to host and film these four footballers in various scenes around the hotel to showcase the brand and partnership. The day saw the Chelsea players living out various hotel scenes that highlighted the quality, service and style that Millennium Hotels and Resorts offers around the world – defining the meaning of getting the Chelsea treatment!
Not only did the film star these world-famous Chelsea players but it also saw several of the Chelsea Harbour’s staff playing a leading role. To name a few, Ola Amajie, Director of Health Club and Spa and Daniel Sciberras, Senior Sales Manager, made their acting debut and we are extremely proud of their performance and grateful for their willingness and enthusiasm to take part.

This is the first time Millennium Hotels has done any filming of this calibre. Not only was the hotel extremely accommodating with the 40-over crew members on site, but it was hugely positive to see the amount of excitement amongst hotel guests. It certainly wouldn’t be the norm to walk past David Luiz and a film crew in the hotel lobby, nor your typical dinner where guests had the lucky chance of sitting adjacent to a world cup winning striker in the hotel restaurant!

Perhaps one of the most satisfying elements of the day was to learn from the players their fondness of the hotel and the environment it allows them to prepare and go out week after week to deliver as one of the leading teams in the English Premier League. We couldn’t be happier with how the day went and are extremely excited to share with you all the final film.
