In its third year, the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) is the world’s largest FinTech festival and global platform for the community to foster an open dialogue between public and private sectors to advance FinTech in the digital economy.

During this year’s week-long event from November 7 to 11, 80RR Fintech Hub SG (80RR) was the proud venue sponsor for two Blockchain Association Singapore (BAS) events – the Blockchain for Good Appreciation Night and SG Blockchain Day 2021.

At the Appreciation Night, the inaugural Blockchain for Good Non-Fungible Token (NFT) charity auction was held, in collaboration with the National Trades Union congress (NTUC) U Care Fund. The event was graced by the Guest-of-Honour, Speaker of Parliament Mr Tan Chuan-Jin. With the generous support from partners, the auction successfully raised over S$400,000 for various assistance programmes, including helping families defray their costs of living and children’s education.
