New World Millennium Hong Kong Gears Up For The Festivities

New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel is gearing up for Christmas and the New Year with a range of enticing cuisines and festivities to celebrate the season with guests.

Diners can enjoy a Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinner buffet with over 90 delicacies at Café East, including unlimited servings of Seafood on Ice, such as Boston Lobsters, Snow Crab Legs, French Edible Crabs, Mussels and Shrimps; Roasted Christmas Turkey; Roasted Canadian Prime Rib of Beef; and seafood dishes like Deluxe Assorted Sashimi, Teppanyaki Hokkaido Scallops and Baked Oysters with Mornay Sauce. 

Diners who book with full prepayment from now until 15 December 2016 will enjoy a 15 percent early bird discount.

On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, the French restaurant, La Table, will serve up a festive semi-buffet lunch and dinner in an elegant setting.  The festive semi-buffet dinner features a salad bar, Deluxe Seafood Platter served to the table (Seasonal Shucked Oysters, Boston Lobster, Snow Crab Legs, Blue Mussels and Prawns), a soup, a main course of choice, a sherbet and a dessert platter. 


As a Japanese restaurant with an emphasis on authenticity, Sagano follows Japanese New Year traditions and invites guests to celebrate the occasion in Japanese style.  On New Year’s Eve, Sagano will offer a Traditional “Long-life Noodle” Set from 10:30 p.m. to midnight for diners to eat soba noodles, which signify long life.  On the first day of 2017, Chef Masahiko Noka will perform the Mochi-pounding Ceremony at the hotel lobby at 11 a.m. to bring an auspicious start for hotel guests by freshly preparing soft and sticky mochi for guests to savour.  After the ceremony, guests may visit Sagano to enjoy a range of authentic Japanese New Year dishes from the festive Osechi Set Lunch.  An Osechi Set Dinner will also be served on the same day.


Overlooking a spectacular Victoria Harbour view, Bar on 15 will offer a four-course set dinner for diners to spoil their loved ones on Christmas Eve.  Chefs have prepared Japanese Scallop with Beetroot Gazpacho, Herring Caviar and Cucumber Foam, Baked Escargot with Herbed Butter and Garlic Mashed Potato, as well as Crab Consommé with Vegetable Pearls and Orzo to pamper diners’ palates.  As for the main course, diners may sample Slow-roasted US Turkey with Foie Gras or Confit Akaroa Sustainable Salmon Fillet.  The filling set dinner will be completed by the Christmas Pudding with Vanilla Ice-cream and Cognac Sauce.  Patrons are also welcome to join the countdown to midnight on New Year’s Eve. 

In addition, festive cocktails will be available throughout December.

Chinese restaurant Tao Li will present festive dinner sets during Christmas and New Year for diners who love authentic Cantonese delicacies.  Highlighted dishes include Stewed Whole 22 Heads Abalone with Oyster Sauce, Braised Bird’s Nest with Diced Seafood and Black Truffle in Lobster Stock, and Baked Lobster with Cheese and Butter Sauce.
