Excellence in journalism took centre stage at the Singapore Press Club Awards 2026, where City Developments Limited (CDL) and Millennium Hotels and Resorts (MHR) continued their support for trusted reporting and Singapore’s media community.

The event brought together more than 270 journalists, editors, communications professionals, industry leaders and partners. Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for Finance and National Development, Ms Indranee Rajah, attended as Guest of Honour.

With a record 77 nominations received this year, the awards reflected the growing strength, diversity and impact of Singapore’s media and communications landscape.

As title sponsor of the CDL–Singapore Press Club Sustainability Journalism Award, CDL continued to recognise journalists who bring greater attention to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues. Through insightful and credible reporting, these journalists help deepen public understanding of sustainability and encourage informed conversations on issues that shape businesses, communities and the future.

MHR, a long-standing supporter of the Singapore Press Club Awards, once again sponsored the winners’ prizes. Each recipient received a two-night staycation for two, inclusive of breakfast and valued at S$1,000, in recognition of the professionalism, integrity and commitment demonstrated by Singapore’s journalists.
