Millennium Hotel Taichung is launching a new dining experience at Lumi Bar with its new Tea-Inspired Afternoon Tea. Available until 30 September 2026, the seasonal offering draws inspiration from signature teas from Taiwan and Japan, pairing handcrafted sweet and savoury creations with the distinctive aromas and flavours of tea.

Thoughtfully curated for two, the afternoon tea features four handcrafted desserts and three savoury delicacies, each showcasing a different expression of tea. Highlights include the Yuzu Golden Lily Macaron, Tieguanyin Peach Mousse, Oolong Sesame Mochi Pastry, and Roasted Hojicha Purple Rice Monaka, bringing together floral, roasted and citrus notes in an elegant balance of flavours and textures.

The savoury selections continue the tea-inspired journey with creations such as the Lobster Mushroom Salad Slider with Shizuoka matcha cheese sauce, the Earl Grey Teriyaki Chicken Tamago Roll, and the refreshing Lemongrass Seafood Cup, combining premium ingredients with subtle tea-infused flavours for a fresh take on afternoon tea.

Served with a choice of signature teas, non-alcoholic coffee or sparkling beverages, the Tea-Inspired Afternoon Tea is priced at NT$1,199 for two. Guests who share their afternoon tea experience on Facebook or Instagram can also enjoy an exclusive 10% discount.
