The vibrant flavours, traditions and warm hospitality of Thailand took centre stage at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore on 13 July, as the hotel officially launched its Thailand Flavourscape Buffet at Food Capital.

The launch welcomed Her Excellency Mrs Waraphannee Damronghmanee, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, together with distinguished guests, valued partners and members of the media for an evening celebrating Thailand’s rich culinary and cultural heritage.

Presented in partnership with the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore, this year’s showcase brought together three accomplished chefs for an exclusive six-hands collaboration. Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore’s Executive Chef David Toh joined Chef Witoon Kamonphun of M Social Hotel Phuket and MasterChef UK finalist Chef Nawamin “Boss” Pinpathomrat to take guests on an authentic culinary journey through Thailand’s diverse regional cuisines.

Guests savoured a generous selection of dishes inspired by treasured family recipes and time-honoured cooking traditions, with each creation showcasing the bold, aromatic and distinctive flavours for which Thai cuisine is renowned.

The chefs behind the Thailand Flavourscape Buffet came together to celebrate an evening of authentic Thai cuisine and cultural exchange. Their six-hands collaboration showcased the country’s diverse regional flavours and culinary traditions.

Thai-inspired décor created an inviting backdrop for a delightful culinary journey through Thailand.

The launch evening offered more than a culinary feast. Captivating Thai cultural performances and the graceful melodies of the traditional khim brought Thailand’s vibrant heritage to life, while lucky draw sessions added an extra touch of excitement to the celebrations.

At Food Capital, dining is an opportunity to bring people together and create connections across cultures. Through collaborations such as the Thailand Flavourscape Buffet, the restaurant continues to celebrate the richness of global cuisines while providing a platform for chefs, partners and guests to share meaningful experiences that transcend borders.

The Thailand Flavourscape Buffet runs until 10 August 2026. Guests who spend a minimum of S$100 nett in a single receipt during the promotion period will also be automatically entered into a lucky draw to win a three-day, two-night stay in a Social Room at M Social Hotel Phuket, inclusive of breakfast for two.
