From purchasing groceries to delivering the items to the families, Hong Leong Finance volunteers contributed their time and care to support beneficiaries through the ABS Community Giveback Programme 2026.

Hong Leong Finance (HLF) employees stepped forward to support families in need through the Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS) Community Giveback Programme 2026.

The initiative brought together ABS, FairPrice Group, FairPrice Foundation, government agencies, financial institutions and community partners to provide groceries and household essentials to beneficiaries identified by the relevant agencies.

On 3 July 2026, 16 HLF volunteers gathered at the FairPrice outlet in Marine Parade Central to purchase items based on the individual needs of each beneficiary. They then personally delivered the groceries and essentials to their homes.



The afternoon was made more meaningful as volunteers helped distribute groceries and household essentials, while taking the opportunity to connect with beneficiaries along the way.

Beyond providing practical assistance, the volunteers also took time to speak with beneficiaries who were open to a chat, adding a meaningful personal connection to the afternoon’s activities.

HLF’s continued participation in the programme reflects its commitment to supporting the community through purposeful action, while encouraging employees to contribute their time and care to make a positive and lasting difference.
