CBM Marks
55 Years With
Home Refresh
Programme
To Uplift Lives
As part of its 55th anniversary celebrations, CBM, the facilities management subsidiary of City Developments Limited (CDL), launched the Home Refresh Programme 2026 in partnership with St. Andrew's Junior College (SAJC). The initiative provides free cleaning, handyman and repair services to families living in Singapore's public housing estates.
To commemorate this milestone year, CBM set an ambitious goal of refreshing 1,000 homes by the end of 2026 to improve living conditions and make a meaningful impact on the community. The programme has surpassed this target.
In June 2026, volunteers conducted assessments of 1,226 rental units in the housing estate of Kampong Chai Chee for the programme. The selected homes will undergo the necessary cleaning, repair and improvement works during the execution phase in October.
Through these collective efforts, the Home Refresh Programme is helping to create cleaner, safer and more comfortable living environments while uplifting residents and strengthening community well-being.
