Hong Leong Asia (HLA) has appointed Mr Stephen Ho as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Director of the company. His joined the company as Director and CEO-Designate on 3 August 2020 and will assume responsibilities in full as CEO on 17 August.

He brings with him a wealth of experience in finance, treasure, risk management, as well as sales and marketing in his roles in companies with operations in Asia-Pacific and particularly China. Prior to joining HLA, he was Chief Financial Officer of Wilmar International Limited. He was also formerly Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Philips Electronics China Group and Vice President, Global Head of Finance and Treasury of LG.Philips Displays International Ltd.
