Current champions of French football league Ligue 1, Paris Saint-Germain Football Club (PSG) arrived in Singapore on 25 July for the 2018 International Champions Cup (ICC), which kicked off at the Singapore National Stadium the next day.

The 24-man squad was greeted by throngs of fans who waited outside JW Marriott Singapore South Beach, the official host hotel the team was based for the week. Although stars Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, who represented Brazil and France respectively at the recent World Cup, did not come, fans were still thrilled to welcome the footballers. PSG players in the Singapore line-up included captain Thiago Silva, goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, forward Angel di Maria, and defender Marquinhos.

PSG was in Singapore with Spanish club Atletico Madrid and English club Arsenal for the ICC. Singapore was the only Asian stop in the tour, which has stops in the United States and Europe. On 28 July, PSG lost 5-1 to Arsenal, and beat Atletico Madrid 3-2 on 30 July.

It was the team's first visit to Asia since 2014, and over 200 fans were treated to a special meet and greet session with the players at JW Marriott Singapore South Beach. The event took place at the hotel's Grand Ballroom, where fans got their personalised merchandise and memorabilia autographed, and took photos with the football stars.
