M Social Singapore has rolled out a new complimentary in-room amenity for Loft room guests, through a partnership with Boxgreen. Boxgreen is a healthy snack company that aims to “snack good, do good”.

In line with M Social Singapore's initiative to reduce the use of single-use plastics, Boxgreen also uses environmentally-friendly packaging, with boxes and information cards made using recycled materials. Its plastic packaging is food grade and also 100% recyclable.

The snacks are specially curated by Boxgreen for guests, and give overseas guests a preview of local flavours with snacks such as ‘Cheng Tng’ (a snack based on the traditional Chinese dessert of the same name, and made with dried longan, goji berry and lotus seeds), ‘Almond Longan Jelly’ (with baked almonds and dried longan), and ‘Marvelous Murukku Mix’ (murukku is a traditional savoury Indian snack, and this version contains a mix of multigrain murukku, cashews, and soy crisps). Guests can also request for changes, subject to availability, to fit their dietary preferences.

Proceeds from each Boxgreen that M Social Singapore provides to Loft room guests are are also donated to the Willing Hearts, a soup kitchen that provides meals to the underprivileged.
