China Yuchai’s main operating subsidiary, Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Company Limited (GYMCL) has appointed Mr Li Hanyang as its new Chairman, effective 11 March 2021.

Mr Li has been with GYMCL for nearly three decades, starting his career with the company as a Production Preparation Section Chief in 1993. He then became the Deputy Manager of GYMCL’s Cold Plant General Project in 1995, and following his role as a Factory Manager of several plants, he was appointed Deputy General Manager of GYMCL in 2000. Since 2002, Mr Li has served as Chief Engineer, Director, Chairman and Party Secretary of GYMCL and its subsidiaries.

China Yuchai’s Board of Directors welcomes Mr Li as GYMCL Chairman and believes his extensive engineering and manufacturing management experience with Yuchai products will be beneficial to the company’s strategic goals.
