Millennium Hotels and Resorts (MHR) has consolidated its global marketing department.

Helming the team is Mr Saurabh Prakash, who has been re-designated as Group Vice President, Marketing. He was formerly Group Vice President, Digital Marketing. In his new role, he will oversee all marketing-related functions including Brand Marketing, Public Relations and Communications; Loyalty and Partnerships; Platform Technology; Digital Marketing; and Distribution Services.

Mr Sunshine Wong has been appointed General Manager of Grand Copthorne Waterfront.

With over 30 years of experience in the hotel industry, he has led several properties in Indonesia, China, Cambodia and Singapore as General manager. Prior to joining MHR, he was with the InterContinental Hotels Group for 20 years, where he held various key positions in sales, commercial, special projects and hotel openings. He was most recently General Manager of Holiday Inn Melaka in Malaysia.
