Green Monday makes low-carbon and sustainable living simple. The movement originated in Hong Kong, where there are now 1.6 million people adopting plant-based choices at least one day a week. According to CNN, over 13% of Taiwanese are vegetarian for a variety of reasons. Taipei is also considered one of the world's most vegetarian-friendly cities with numerous vegetarian specialty restaurants all over the city.

Grand Hyatt Taipei's 9 HACCP and ISO 22000 certified restaurants already offer a wide variety of vegetarian options. To make it even easier and better for diners who do not eat meat, Yun Jin Chinese restaurant and Pearl Liang Cantonese seafood restaurant have revamped and upgraded their existing vegetarian cuisines.

From 28 March to 14 April, explore the best of Thai food with Café’s “Tempting Thai” promotion.

Headlined by Special Guest Chef Archara To-ussami, a seasoned Chef de Cuisine of Erawan Tea Room of Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, the two-week promotion will feature some of Chef Aut's favourite Thai cuisines including Yum Nua Yang, Gai Tord Kluea, Som Tom, selections of Satays, Tom Yum Goong, Khao Phad Pu, Gaeng Kiew Warn Gai, and the most popular Khao Niew Mamuang and local favorite Khao Phad Sa Pa Rod and much more.

During this period, Café will be decked with Thai style decorations and service staff will be dressed in traditional attire to provide a truly authentic ambience for guests to enjoy an unforgettable Thai dining experience.
