Hong Leong Finance (HLF) has once again been lauded as the top finance company in the region. The Singapore-listed firm was named ‘ASEAN Finance Company of the Year’ at the 2018 Asian Banking and Finance Awards for the fifth year running.

HLF also picked up the inaugural ‘Mortgage and Home Loan Product of the Year - Singapore’ for its Mortage Equity @ 50 programme, which was rolled out last year. The programme allows individuals to cash out with term loans on their private residential properties with low loan-to-value ratios and total debt servicing ratio exemption, and has been well-received since its launch.

In its 13th year, the Asian Banking and Finance Awards is organised by the Charlton Media Group, publisher of business media such as Singapore Business Review and Investment Asia. The awards recognises top banks, finance companies and insurance firms that stand out with groundbreaking products and services amidst the challenges the finance sector is facing.
